JPL’s Employee Assistance Program through LifeMatters offers free, confidential support through LifeMatters, including counseling, financial and legal consultations, and work-life resources for employees and their families.

What to Know

Your Employee Assistance Program is confidential. All services provided through LifeMatters are private, and no personal information about your use of the program is shared with your employer.

These services are available to employees and their eligible dependents, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Through this program, you have access to:

  • Confidential counseling support for stress, anxiety, depression, grief, relationship concerns, and other personal or work-related challenges (including 5 free sessions per person, per issue).
  • Work-life support services to help with childcare, elder care, adoption, education, pet care, and everyday needs.
  • Financial and legal consultation for budgeting, debt management, credit guidance, consumer law, family law, and estate planning.

You may consider using the EAP if you are:

  • Feeling overwhelmed, stressed, anxious, or experiencing low mood
  • Navigating grief, loss, or major life changes
  • Managing family, caregiving, or relationship challenges
  • Facing financial concerns or needing budgeting support
  • Dealing with workplace stress or communication challenges

What to expect and how to connect

In addition to live support, you have access to online tools and resources through LifeMatters, including articles, videos, webinars, self-service tools, and a well-being assessment to help you create a personalized support plan.

Services are also accessible after separation from the company for up to six months at no cost.
